City Parks:

Adult Slow-Pitch Co-Ed Softball League:

In 2010, the City’s Parks Advisory Board began to develop ideas for offering adult recreation programs to city residents. As a result of their work, the city of Anna is please to announce that we will be offering an adult slow-pitch co-ed softball league. Volunteers from the Parks Board will take a lead role in administering the program and will coordinate registration, schedules, standings, tournaments and awards.

The season will start in June and will conclude at the end of July with a tournament. The registration fee is $350 per team. The fee will primarily cover umpires and tournament awards. We anticipate that most games will be played at the lighted softball field at Slayter Creek Park.

The league will be limited to 12 teams so those interested are encouraged to register as soon as possible. It is our hope that the softball league will be the first of several programs that will meet the recreational needs of our growing community.
