The Anna Independent School District is located in a fast-growing area which covers 63 square miles in the northeast corner of Collin County. The school district consists of two elementary schools, one middle school, one high school and athletic facilities and is currently responsible for the education of approximately 2200 students. The district’s motto is “Achieving Excellence Together”.
AISD is fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency and continually strives to serve on the cutting edge of providing well-defined academic curriculum for students. The school district received an “Academically Acceptable” rating for the 2009 – 2010 school year.
The heart of any educational system is its classroom teachers. AISD teachers are professional educators who are dedicated to assisting children to achieve their maximum potential and realize the importance of current methodology and technology.
